On the nose, fresh, fruity and offers a fine grain, some power and concentration. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, small blue berry burstings and more lightly cherry combined with hints of violet, lily, small fresh wild berries as well as hints of cardamom, tonka bean/chocolate, fine nutmeg and orange zest. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, a little fat, pulpiness, some fullness, juiciness, a little acidity. The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, juicy blackcurrant and more lightly of small blue berry burstings associated with a touch of juicy/fresh raspberry, violet as well as fine points of toasted almond and discreet vanilla. Good length. The tannins are well conducted. A discreet touch of cocoa on the persistence.
