The nose is fine, fruity and offers a slight gourmandise as well as a beautiful elegance. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe cassis and slight notes of blueberry, flowers associated with a discreet hint of licorice stick, a subtle woody hint, a very discreet hint of roasting as well as a subtle/discreet hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background), sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful straightness, tension, deepness, a beautiful purity, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful finesse as well as slight acid frame and a nice freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, ripe/fresh cassis and slight notes of black cherry associated with a discreet hint of fresh/ripe raspberry, a subtle hint of flowers, a discreet hint of toasted oak as well as slight hints of roasting, sweet spices and a discreet hint of nutmeg. Tannins are relatively fine and slightly firms. Good length and persistence. The finish is slightly gourmande et powerful. There is a slight salin hint as well as a very discret hint of almond on the finish/persistence. (2024/2025+)
