Château Lilian Ladouys 2016 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is racy and offers power, elegance as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes o wild cassis, wild small blue berries and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of red fruits as well as hints of gray pepper and toasted. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness (in the background), a small tension, a good structure as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/acidulous red berries, fleshy/acidulous raspberry and small notes of fleshy/acidulous cassis associated with fine hints of tonka bean, vanilla a well as very discreet hint of almond and toasted.
