The nose is fruity, powerful, elegant, racy and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, cherry and wild raspberry combined with spicy touches as well as slight hints of chocolate / mocha, toasted oak / sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame (slight minerality), a slight acidity, a good definition, elegance, suavity, a slight straightness as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, juicy cassis and slight notes of crushed / riped redcurrant combined with touches of toasted oak, slight touches of chocolate (in the background) and caramelization / almond. Tannins are supple and straight.
