Château Les Vimières 2020 Haut-Médoc

On the nose, it offers elegance, a certain concentration (in finesse), controlled power as well as density and depth, a nice freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, small black pulpy fruits, small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with small touches of cherry, cherry tree flower, racy, minerality as well as hints of tobacco, tonka bean, fresh, balanced, a juicy/mineral frame, gourmandize and a nice fleshy/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small fleshy red touches, strawberry as well as fine hints of small blue bright berries as well as discreet hints of blond fresh tobacco and black/mocha chocolate. The tannins are racy. A discreet hint of coffee on the persistence. Good length.
