Château Les Gravières 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers elegance as well as concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis, wild strawberry and Timut pepper associated with touches of chocolate, spices as well as a hint of vanilla and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, slightly tight and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid frame, fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, juicy/ripe redcurrant and touches of blackberry associated with fine touches of raspberry, sweet spices and a discreet hint of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco. Tannins are fine, slightly firm and slightly dry. Good length.
