The nose is fruity and offers intensity, concentration as well as a beautiful fine/slightly tight grain as well as complexity, a small freshness and a small flowery side. It reveals notes of bright cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of small bright wild blue berries associated with small touches of pepper, fresh nutmeg, cornflower as well as fine hints of wild strawberry, tea, toasted, exotic fruits, a discreet hint of cocoa and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good freshness, a good definition, a small tension as well as a beautiful definition, a fine grain and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright raspberry, juicy/bright blue berries, small notes of cassis associated with touches of violet, cornflower, caramelization as well as hints of cocoa, toasted, pepper, tea, a subtle hint of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of coffee. Good length. Tannins are well-built and elegant.
