Château Le Bon Pasteur 2015 – Pomerol

Château Le Bon Pasteur 2015 – Pomerol

The nose is aromatic, elegant, finely powerful and offers a fine complexity. It reveals notes of coffee, blackberry and crushed wild strawberries combined with hints of mocha / cocoa, wood, blue fruits as well as touches of spices and caramelization. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, delicate, gourmande, racy and offers a fine finesse, a fine acid frame, tension, a fine suavity, a fine freshness, beautiful velvety grain, complexity and a beautiful precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy Boysenberry, fleshy blueberry and fine notes of crunchy Gariguette strawberry associated with fine hints of raspberry, grilled wood, mocha, gray pepper, clay, flowers, spices as well as slight touches of chocolate and caramelization. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly firm. Good length. There is a hint of coffee and cocoa on the persistence. A beautiful wine! Nice potential. (2020+)
