The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a small intensity, concentration as well as freshness. It reveals notes of quite ripe cassis, small ripe wild black fruits, small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with small touches of quite ripe violet plum, violet as well as fine hints of camphor, nutmeg, a discreet hint of clove, truffle and tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, suavity, elegance as well as freshness, a beautiful fleshy/ripe/gourmand fruit and a fine ioded guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/very ripe blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of very ripe raspberry associated with touches of violet, plum, black cherry as well as hints of violet, grey pepper, incense, clove, nutmeg, truffle and a very discreet hint of Badiane. A very fine hint of cocoa and toasted on the finish/persistence. Tannins are well-built and elegant. Good length. A good sapide and gourmand persistence.
