Château Lalande Borie 2014 – Saint-Julien

Château Lalande Borie 2014 – Saint-Julien

The nose is powerful and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of black fruits, small black berries, red fruit (cherry, raspberry) and slight notes of torrefaction associated with a few notes of licorice. The mouth is fleshy, suave, silky, rich, full, slightly austere and offers a little fresh/acid frame that leads the tasting. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry cream and slight notes of raspberry and cherry associated with touches of chocolate-coated coffee bean, toast and subtle notes of spices. Tannins are chewy and elegant. Good length and aromatic persistence.
