The nose is fruity, fresh and offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of griotte cherry, wild blackberryand small notes of quite ripe wild raspberry associated with touches of small wild berries, violet, grey pepper as well as hints of tobacco, very discreet hints of clove and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, peps/energy, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize, concentration as well as a small richness and power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/suave black cherry, quite ripe wild strawberry and small notes of violet, cuben pepper associated with touches of small wild fruits, camphor, lily as well as fine hints of Sichuan pepper, truffle (in the background), tobacco, subtle hints of almost saline minerality, underwood, tea and mild tobacco. Good length. Tannins are precise, elegant and racy. Good length.
