Château La Violette 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, elegant, beautifully defined, elegant and offers precision, a beautiful harmony, power and a certain delicacy. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed plum, small notes of violet, lilac associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, crushed raspberry as well as hints of grey pepper, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of Badiane. The palate is fruity, mineral, elegant, fresh, beautifully defined and offers precision, delicacy, a fine acidulous frame as well as a beautiful finesse/precision and an aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet, lilac, small notes of bright violet plum associated with touches of raspberry as well as hints of strawberry, sweet spices, a subtle hint of liquorice, black tea, cherry blossom, chocolate and vanilla. Good length. Tannins are elegant, precise and very finely chewy.
