The nose reveals notes of cassis, black berry and cassis bud associated with fine notes of spices, touches of Zan and a touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, smooth and offers small minerality, a good matter and an acid frame acid. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of strawberry, blackberry and cassis combined with touches of cassis bud, a fine note of liquorice as well as touches of toasted oak and sweet spices (especially vanilla). Tannins are fine. Good length and persistence.
