The nose is toasty and aromatic. There are notes of toast, strawberry and more slightly fleshy blackcurrant combined with a touch of raspberry and toasted almond. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, sweetness, juicy/sour/acidic fruit, sweetness and good definition. On the palate this wine has bright raspberry, blackcurrant and slightly more tart/pulpy red berry notes with a touch of purple plum and hints of toast, toasted almond and a subtle hint of roast. Good length. Promising even if it is currently in the middle of a woody phase.
