Château La Cabanne 2017 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, racy and offers power, complexity as well as richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with touches of violet plum, grey pepper, fleshy/ripe small wild black fruits as well as fine hints of nutmeg, spices and a discreet hint of dry mild tobacco/vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers tension, a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy/ripe blackberry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of juicy blueberry, chocolate, caramelization as well as a fine hint of toasted. Good length. A beautiful wine!
