The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, complexity and a racy minerality. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of juicy/ripe small red berries associated with very fine hints of Cuben/gray pepper, very discreet hints of violet, liquorice as well as very discreet hints of violet plum and cacao. The palate is fruity, juicy, gourmand and offers tension, straightness, a fine salinity (in the background) and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy/crunchy blackberry associated with very fine touches of crunchy red berries as well as a subtle hint of toasted, cocoa and a very discreet hint of toasted/roasted vanilla. Tannins are structuring.
