Château Jalousie Beaulieu, Cuvée Le Grand Philippe 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with slight purple reflections. The nose is open, purely fruity and gourmand. It expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, blackberry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis and redcurrant jelly, combined with notes of macerated cherry, dark chocolate, dried mint and violet. On the palate, the wine is expressive, tasty, with lots of fruit and gourmandise. We find notes of wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, black plum, red plum, blackberry, as well as violet, dried mint and violet in the background. The tannins are fine, but well structured. Beautiful salivating acidity, the finish is quite persistent, fruity and slightly bitter.
