Château Haut Peyrous 2016 – Graves

The nose is fruity, fresh, gourmand and offers a slight intensity/concentration as well as a slight power. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, cassis and slight hints of crushed strawberry associated with slight notes of chocolate, discreet hints of toasted as well as a slight hint of caramelization/sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers tension, a nice maturity, juiciness as well as a good minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and a hintf o strawberry associated with a discreet hint of raspberry, slightn otes of caramelization as well as a slight hint of licorice and a very discreet hint of coffee on the persistence. Tannins are fine and very slightly dusty. Good length.
