Château Haut Bellevue 2016 – Moulins-en-Médoc

Château Haut Bellevue 2016 – Moulins-en-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a slight elegance as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, crushed cassis and slight notes of sweet raspberry associated with discreet hints of licorice, oak slightly caramelized as well as a hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good minerality, fat, suavity, tension, a good freshness as well as a good structure and volume. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis, strawberry and slight hints of fresh small red fruits associated with a discreet hint of flowers, licorice as well as a very (very) discreet toasted hint and a very discreet hint of chocolate on the persistence. Tannins are fine and well-built. Nice potential!
