The nose is fruity, intense and complex and reveals some infusion character. There are notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, pulpy/juicy violet plum and more slightly ripe red berries combined with fine touches of lily/fresh flowers as well as fine hints of bergamot, vanilla and a discreet hint of star anise. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, freshness, energy, some roundness, a certain purity, a fine graphite side. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/fresh violet plum and, more slightly, fresh/juicy raspberry notes combined with hints of violet, lily and fine mocha, graphite, bergamot and a discreet hint of vanilla. Good length. The tannins are smooth, sapid and taut.
