The nose is fruity, elegant, racy, well-balanced and offers a very fine intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of blueberry associated with a touch of strawberry as well as small touches of caramelization, liquorice, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a mineral/fresh frame, a small juiciness, a fine unctuosity, a fine grain as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of fleshy/fresh strawberry associated with a touch of fresh/juicy blueberry as well as fine touches of liquorice, chocolate/tonka bean and a very discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are structuring and very finely tight.
