The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, power, a beautiful fruit, a fine freshness, a beautiful intensity as well as beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of ripe red berries, liquorice associated with slight hints of zan, blueberry / violet, caramelization, toasted as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers juiciness, a good definition, gourmandise, an acidulous frame, a small density, tension as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, fleshy / juicy blackberry and small notes of red berries associated with small touches of fleshy / juicy raspberry, slight hints of blueberry, licorice stick as well as with subtle hints of tonka bean, caramelization and almonds. Tannins are elegant, very discreetly tight and finely firm. Good length. There are very slight hints of coffee on the persistence.
