The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with fine hints of cornflower, sweet spices, small blue fruits as well as a subtle hint of iris, spices, nutmeg and varietal (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, a fine tension as well as elegance. This wine needs to be put in carafe. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, juicy blueberry, small notes of juicy blackberry associated with fine touches of juicy raspberry as well as fine hints of chocolate, caramelization, hints of iris and cornflower. An imperceptible hint of nutmeg and tonka bean on the finish/persistence.
