The nose is elegant, gourmand and offers elegance as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, very ripe strawberry and small notes of ripe blackberry associated with fine touches of violet as well as hint of spices, underwood and liquorice. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant and offers a good freshness, definition, an acidulous frame as well as a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, juicy raspberry and small notes of fresh blackberry associated with fine touches of ripe/juicy redcurrant, toasted, cocoa as well as very fine hints of vanilla, nutmeg and a subtle hint of cloves. Tannins are elegant and very finely tight. Good length.
