On the nose, fruity, aromatic and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly violet associated with touches of pulpy violet plum as well as fine toasted notes, a discreet hint of vanilla and spices/cloves (in the background). On the palate, fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, a mineral frame and richness. The wine expresses pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy black currant and slightly pulpy/juicy purple plum notes with hints of violet, toast and a subtle waft of chocolate and a discreet vanilla.
