Château Fayat 2022 – Pomerol

Château Fayat 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity with a slight intensity and a nice minerality. We perceive a little velvety freshness and a certain creaminess in the richness of the fruit. We have notes of fairly ripe pulpy raspberries, racy, even gravelly minerality and more slightly small pulpy and bright blue fruits associated with touches of fresh pepper. We also perceive a saline side and small roasted red fruits as well as a discreet note of fresh camphor. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. It has a tangy structure with juiciness, accuracy, tension and notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries also accompanying black cherry and more slightly – cornflower associated with touches of fairly ripe raspberries, small black fruits as well as with hints of camphor, toasted vanilla and a subtle roasted note. This wine has good length and distinguished tannins, a nice definition for a nicely mineral and fresh palate.
