The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry, bulb/lily and small notes of racy minerality, toasted associated with fine notes of crushed wild strawberry, fine touches of crushed raspberry, violet as well as fine hints of Sichuan pepper and subtle hints of spices/camphor. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, well-built, well-balanced, precise and offers a beautiful freshness, juiciness, a fine tension, fat, a beautiful suavtiy, a fine unctuosity, tension as well as a beautiful minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry and cassis associated with small notes of violet/lily, raspberry, red berries as well as fine touches of black cherry, liquorice stick and fine touches of toasted oak. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and persistence.
