Château D’Estroyes – Le Clos L’Evêque 2019 – Mercurey 1er Cru

The nose is aromatic, powerful and structured. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed black plum and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of cornflower, small flowers as well as a discreet hint of spices and timut pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, precision, a certain tension, a small richness and a certain fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, juicy / tangy black plum and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of chocolate, liquorice / zan as well as a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco and toasted hazelnut. Good, acidulous and gourmande persistence.
