Château des Tourtes – Sauvignon Blanc 2020, Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

On the nose, fruity and offers freshness, precision as well as a delicate richness and a certain level of tension. It reveals notes of pulpy/fresh apple, fresh pear and more slightly fresh kumquat associated with small touches of nectarine, zest, mesocarp, discreet hints of fresh lychee, apple blossom and an imperceptible touch of fresh beeswax. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, fatness, a little fleshiness, well-balanced richness as well as a some unctuousness, a fine tension, an acidic frame, mastered richness and roundness.
The wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy apple, quince and more slightly pear associated with touches of crushed peach, quenette/litchi as well as subtle notes of kumquat/pink grapefruit, discrete hints of beeswax and toastiness.
