Château des Ferrages – Roumery 2018 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is fruity and offers a small freshness, a small minerality as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of fleshy pear and stewed peach combined with slight hints of almond, crushed apples, flowers, zest as well as very slight hints of “sense of place” and vanilla. The palate is fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, gourmandise, precision, tension, minerality as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy pear / juicy and flat juicy / crunchy peach associated with fine touches of juicy quince, kumquat as well as very discreet hints of orange blossom and an imperceptible hint of almond. Good length.
