Château de Saint-Aubin – Clos du Château 2015 – Monopole – Saint-Aubin Premier Cru

The nose is elegant, aromatic, mineral, racy and offers purity as well as a small richness. It reveals notes of lychee, ripe lemon, quenette, passion fruit and vine peach associated with a discreet hint of brioche / butter and almond. The palate is fruity, well- balanced, well-built, precise and offers a nice acid frame, a nice tension, delicacy, a slight unctuosity, a nice definition / expression, suavity, a nice juiciness, gourmandise, purity as well as a nice minerality and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, quince and juicy peach associated with touches of exotic fruits, butter and slight / discreet touches of lime and a very discreet hint of almond. Good length. Very beautiful persistence with notes of acidulous fruits and zests. There are a hint of almond / hazelnut and a hint of brioche on the aftertaste.
