Château de Pressac 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers richness in balance, a racy grain, a fine creaminess (associated with a little airy side) as well as a certain intensity and concentration precisely carried out. It reveals notes of wild berries, Cuben pepper and slightly blackberry associated with small touches of crushed strawberry, bright black berries as well as a fine hint of blueberry, nutmeg and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a mineral frame, a nice acidity, finesse in its richness, creaminess precisely managed as well as a nice guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, juicy / tangy blackberry and more slightly tangy / juicy red berries associated with touches of juicy blueberry, lily, sweet spices as well as fine hints of saffron, sweet blond tobacco, chocolate and a discreet hint of toasted almond (in the background). Tannins are precise, well-structured, racy and finely mellow. Good length.
