Château de Lestiac 2014 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fine, elegant and relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and fine notes of blueberry, cassis associated with a touch of red fruit, caramelized oak, a subtle hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice suavity, a nice minerality, a fine juicy frame, a fine acidity, an aerial side, a good definition and elegance. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry / juicy, cassis and strawberry associated with a note of blueberry as well as subtle touches of Bourbon vanilla, caramelized oak and melted chocolate. Tannins are elegant and a bit firm.
