Château de Laussac – Cuvée La Fleur 2011 – Castillon côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and a bit powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, black cherry, cassis and cherry combined with toasted notes as well as small notes of coconut. The palate is fruity, racy, relatively gourmand and offers a small minerality, freshness and precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fig associated with slight notes of red fruits, licorice and oak. Good length and persistence with very slight notes of coffee. Tannins are fine and slightly dry but well-controlled. The finish is quite powerful.
