Château de Ferrand 2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers elegance and a fine intensity / concentration. It reveals notes of raspberries, blackberry and small notes of juicy black fruits combined with touches of black cherry, liquorice as well as a hint of flowers, sweet spices / vanilla and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise, frank, fine and offers a small fleshiness, a fine acid frame, a small minerality and a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of red berries, cherry as well as a hint of flowers, licorice and a very discreet hint of spices. A beautiful, fruity, juicy and fresh wine !
