Château de Côme 2016 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers power as well as finesse. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry and more slightly liquorice stick associated with fine touches of cassis, pepper as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers finesse, a small richness, tension as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, wild blackberry and more slightly wild strawberry associated with touches of liquoriuce, small red berries as well as fine hints of racy minerality, chocolate and an imperceptible hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are very slightly dry.
