The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers finesse, a small richness, tension as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, wild blackberry and more slightly wild strawberry associated with touches of liquoriuce, small red berries as well as fine hints of racy minerality, chocolate and an imperceptible hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are very slightly dry.
