Château de Carles – Cuvée Haut-Carles 2012 – Fronsac

The nose reveals notes of ripe fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) associated with a note of roasting, oak and leather. The palate is fresh, dense, fruity, structured and relatively concentrated. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, raspberry. The freshness is accentuated on the mid-palate. The tannins are well made but a bit young.
