The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, precision, elegance as well as an acidulous/mineral frame (racy minerality). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/crushed cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with very fine hints of violet plum, strawberry, sweet spices, chocolate/toasted as well as a subtle hint of caramelized almond (in the background). Tannins are structuring and very slightly marked on the persistence. A subtle hint of bitterness (chocolate/flowers) on the persistence.
