The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a small power, finesse, a beautiful gourmandise as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild cassis and small black berries associated with touches of small blue fruits, crushed strawberry, violet as well as hints of Sichuan pepper / sweet spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a good definition, roundness, suavity, a beautiful mineral frame, freshness, a very slightly tight grain as well as a slight tension / elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy boysenberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of crushed cassis combined with touches of violet, strawberry, small wild berries as well as hints of sweet spices and vanilla / toasted hints. Tannins are fine, elegant and structuring. Good persistence. There are notes of mocha, blackberry as well as a very discreet touch of pepper, cardamom and tea on the persistence.
