Château d’Arche 2018 – Sauternes

The nose offers a fine intensity as well as freshness. It reveals notes of fresh lemon, ripe/fresh kumquat and small notes of fresh pineapple, fresh apple associated with touches of toasted oak and a fine hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, chased and offers juiciness, a good definition, a fine acidulous/juicy frame, tension, a fine grain as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy vine peach, juicy/fresh lemon and more slightly juicy/fresh green apple associated with touches of exotic fruits (quenette, pineapple… a discreet hint of papaya)as well as subtle hints of flowers and fine hints of vanilla in the background/persistence. Good length. Fine hints of caramelization on the persistence.
