Château Croque Michotte 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic, a bit on withheld and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and cassis bud associated with small notes of blackberry, flowers, touches of strawberry as well as fine touches of spices and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmand and offers a good definition, suavity, fluidity, juicy/crunchy fruit, dynamism as well as a good acid frame/acidulous fruits. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, wild strawberry and more slightly ripe/crushed redcurrant associated with fine/discreet touches of sweet spices. Good length.
