The nose is fine, very slightly tight and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, iris and small red fruits associated with small notes of cassis as well as discreet hints of bulb, mint liquorice and toasted. The palate is mineral, well-balanced, a bit tight, racy and offers a mineral frame (racy minerality), tension as well as a fine juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, red berries and more slightly iris, bell pepper/bulb associated with small/fine touches of blackberry, toasted as well as discreet touches of fresh almond and very discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are slightly firm. There is an imperceptible hint of almond on the aftertaste.
