Château Clément-Pichon 2017 – Haut-Médoc

Château Clément-Pichon 2017 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, juicy, fresh and offers a good definition, a fine richness as well as density but all in finess. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and ripe wild red berries associated with fine touches of flowers, Sichuan pepper as well as a discreet hint of oak (in the background) and a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a beautiful juiciness, a fine acid frame, precision as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy redcurrant, fleshy raspberry and more slightly black cherry, blackberry associated with fine/discreet touches of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of toasted/almond (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. There is a discreet hint of fresh nut on the persistence.
