The nose offers power, elegance and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with fine touches of fleshy red cherry as well as very fine hints of grey pepper and a subtle hint of flowers, sugared mild tobacco. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a small suavity and a fine straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy blackberry, juicy/ripe cherry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of spices, dry mild tobacco leaf and an imperceptible varietal hint (in the background). Good length. Tannins are elegant.
