The nose is aromatic and offers intensity, a certain power as well as a certain precision. It reveals notes of cassis, iris/varietal and small notes of violet associated with fine hints of spices/white pepper. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy cherry, crunchy red berries and small notes of iris/varietal associated with fine touches of pepper as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean/zan. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length.
