Château Cap de Mourlin 2015 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, fresh, aromatic and quite concentrated. It reveals notes of plum, cassis, oaky notes and mocha combined with slight notes of licorice as well as discreet notes of undergrowth. The palate is fruity, balanced, elegant and offers minerality / freshness, acidity and a nice juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of blueberry associated with touches of chocolate as well as a few slight notes of plum (in the background) and a touch of sweet spice / a toasted touch. Good length and persistence.
