Château Cap de Faugères 2020 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine grain, a fine power as well as a certain concentration. It reveals notes of bright blueberry, raspberry, small notes of cornflower, small red fruits associated with touches of fresh liquorish, star anis and a discreet hint of spices. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, a small tension as well as a fine straightness, juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of  juicy/pulpy raspberry, fresh/bright blueberry, small notes of purple plum associated with touches of small red currants as well as hints of violet, star anis, fine hints of saffron and chocolate. Good length. The tannins offer fine mellow
