The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine intensity and power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe strawberry and small notes of liquorice associated with a discreet touch of flowers and discreet hints of Cuben pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral and slightly acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh wild strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with very fine varietal hints as well as fine hints of toasted/tonka bean and spices. Tannins are finely chewy.
