Château Canon Chaigneau 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers gourmandize, a nice fleshiness of the fruit as well as a certain richness. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, bright cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed strawberry, blueberry as well as fine hints of pepper/tea. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good work of the bitters, a good definition, gourmandize, suavity, a small tension and a discreetly tight structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry, small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of acidulous blueberry as well as hints of violet, cornflower, zan, toasted hazelnut and a discreet hint of vanilla. Good length. The tannins are mellow.
